In a significant development aimed at boosting the information technology sector in Pakistan, the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has made a promising announcement for IT students. This initiative is set to pave the way toward not only enhancing technical skills among the youth but also opening up avenues for lucrative online business opportunities.

During an event at the IT Markaz, Governor Tessori revealed his commitment to personally sponsor the Google certification fees for students who are enrolling in IT courses under the Governor’s Initiative. “I recently met with Google’s team in Islamabad, who are pleased with the students qualifying for certification,” Governor Tessori shared. He elaborated on the significance of Google certifications, emphasizing how these credentials could unlock doors to websites where certified individuals can earn substantial income through online businesses.

The announcement follows a meeting between Governor Tessori and Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan at the Governor’s House, where discussions revolved around constitutional assistance for the government, compliance with cases, and efforts by the Attorney General and his team to achieve it.

Governor Tessori expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan and his team in supporting the government’s initiatives, especially in the IT and legal sectors. Following their meeting, both dignitaries visited the IT Market, acknowledging its potential as the future of Karachi’s economy.

During their visit, Governor Tessori briefed the Attorney General about the IT courses available under the Governor’s Initiative, leading Mansoor Usman Awan to commend this step as a “great and commendable initiative.” Both leaders emphasized the critical importance of promoting the IT sector to overcome economic challenges faced by the country.

Addressing the youth, Attorney General Awan conveyed a message of motivation and encouragement. “You are fortunate to have this golden opportunity; you will have to work hard, Inshallah, you will be successful,” he stated, underscoring the transformative potential of such initiatives in empowering the youth towards achieving personal and professional success.

This initiative by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori marks a significant effort to boost the IT industry by providing much-needed support to the youth, who are increasingly turning towards digital platforms and technologies as a means of education and employment. By sponsoring Google certification fees for IT students, the Governor’s Initiative aims to remove financial barriers, thus enabling students to achieve internationally recognized qualifications that could greatly enhance their career prospects in the global marketplace.
