Jagdeep Singh is well-known as the founder and former CEO of the American company Quantumscape. His academic background is as stellar as his career, holding a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Computer Science from Stanford University. Complementing his technical expertise, Singh also boasts an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Singh’s illustrious career has seen him gain valuable industry experience, working for esteemed companies such as Sun Microsystems and Ciena. It was in 2010 that he leveraged his expertise to establish Quantumscape, driven by his deep understanding of battery technology. Quantumscape has been at the forefront of developing solid-state rechargeable lithium metal batteries, with significant applications in electric vehicles, and has attracted major investors like Volkswagen and Bill Gates.
