Business Councils Praise Abu Dhabi Chamber’s Role in Economic Growth
In a significant endorsement of its efforts to fuel the private sector’s growth, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has been lauded by various business councils. These councils, which function under the ADCCI’s guidance, are pivotal in driving the local and international private sector forward, positioning Abu Dhabi as a premier global business hub.
The ADCCI’s proactive approach includes organizing regular meetings with 23 business councils to explore collaboration opportunities and foster dialogue. This engagement aims to enhance the investment atmosphere and ensure governmental alignment with council viewpoints on project developments and investment vistas in diverse sectors. Furthermore, the ADCCI hosts official trade delegations, with 40 such delegations welcomed over the past year.
His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Executive Officer of ADCCI, highlighted the instrumental role of business councils within ADCCI’s strategic framework. “Our commitment to supporting these councils is unwavering, recognizing the vital contribution they make in fostering dialogue, forming partnerships, and understanding global private sector and investor ambitions,” he remarked. This, according to Al Qubaisi, is in line with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071, aimed at bolstering the national economy.
The leaders of these business councils have expressed their deep appreciation for the UAE government’s support, particularly praising the ADCCI for its initiatives that span organizing educational courses, workshops on new legislations, and facilitating networking among businesses. This holistic support has significantly contributed to their achievements and allowed them to address challenges effectively.
