Diyar Al Muharraq Concludes Fourth Edition of “Tumouh” and Announces the Winner

Diyar Al Muharraq, Bahrain’s leading real estate developer, successfully concluded the fourth edition of its renowned training program, ‘Tumouh’. This annual initiative, led by the Human Resources department, underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to social responsibility. After thorough evaluation of the final presentations, trainee Mariam Al Mahal emerged as the first-place prize winner, with her focus on enhancing the city’s projects and formulating sustainable solutions.

The fourth edition of the program saw participation from 4 promising graduates: Mariam Al Mahal, Noora Al Doseri, Reema Kamashki, and Zain Taqi. The primary goal was to equip them with practical expertise under the mentorship of a myriad of professionals within the company. The training process extended from June to November 2024, during which participants honed their professional skills and gathered valuable vocational experiences. They were also introduced to the company’s values and culture, and given a comprehensive view of its masterplan and both current and prospective projects.

The final ceremony took place in November at the Al Naseem Social Hub. Here, the participants presented their comprehensive final presentations before a panel of six esteemed judges, which included Dr. Sh. Haifa bint Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, Dr. May Khalfan, Dr. Noora Al Doy, Eng. Khallid Ali Al Hashimi, Eng. Haider Al Nuaimi, and Eng. Timothy O’Donnell. The panel was also graced by representatives from Diyar Al Muharraq, led by Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, the Chief Executive Officer, along with department heads, senior managers, and members of the Human Resources department.

Eng. Ahmed Ali Alammadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq, expressed his pleasure on the successful culmination of the program, stating, “We were pleased to welcome a group of promising Bahraini talents to the fourth edition of ‘Tumouh’. Through the program, we aimed to hone their practical skills and provide them with professional expertise, while utilizing their experiences in the planning and implementation of new development projects that will further enrich our city. We hope that this support will help in paving the way for their journey as future leaders in the engineering sector. We extend our congratulations to Maryam Al Mahal for her well-deserved win, underscoring our belief in her groundbreaking ideas. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in the program and the judges for their key insights, which contributed to selecting this year’s winner.”

The ‘Tumouh’ program focuses on providing vocational training to Bahraini graduates armed with Bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering, electrical engineering, architecture, real estate development, and quantity surveying. The selection of participants is based on predefined acceptance criteria, offering them opportunities to develop projects within Diyar Al Muharraq. This approach aims to amplify their skills, bolster their abilities, and positively affect their future career trajectories.

Diyar Al Muharraq stands as the largest integrated residential city in Bahrain. It offers a luxurious lifestyle while steadfastly preserving traditional Bahraini family values. The project’s varied range of housing options combined with its commercial, recreational, and healthcare facilities renders it a highly desirable destination for those seeking a modern and integrated urban living experience.
