Dentsply Sirona Appoints Michael Barber and Daniel Scavilla as New Board Members
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 06, 2025 – Dentsply Sirona Inc. has announced the appointment of Michael J. Barber and Daniel T. Scavilla to its Board of Directors. This strategic move is effective February 5, 2025, and represents a significant enhancement to the company’s leadership structure.
Michael J. Barber comes with more than 40 years of experience in product management and innovation, having held pivotal executive positions at GE. He played a vital role in transforming the company’s digital X-Ray program, bringing a wealth of knowledge in operations and technology to Dentsply Sirona’s Science and Technology Committee.
Daniel T. Scavilla, the CEO of Globus Medical, brings an in-depth expertise in commercial deployment and business integration. His notable achievement includes leading the merger of Globus and NuVasive, highlighting his potential impact as a member of the Board’s Audit and Finance Committee. His experience is expected to support Dentsply Sirona’s growth strategies and innovation pursuits.
