ODA Class Secures Total Funding of US$ 12.75 Million Following the Latest US$ 500,000 Seed B Round

In a significant move within the Edtech sector, Bengaluru-based startup, ODA Class, has successfully closed its series B funding round, raising an impressive US$ 500,000. This latest infusion of capital marks a pivotal moment for the company, underscoring their unwavering dedication to redefining educational paradigms through cutting-edge technology.

ODA Class has garnered substantial support from an esteemed group of investors, showcasing a strong vote of confidence in its mission and future prospects. Among the key backers are notable entities such as Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China.

The journey of fundraising for ODA Class over the years illustrates a trajectory of growing investor trust and market validation. Starting with a substantial US$9,000,000 in 2021, followed by an additional US$3,000,000 in 2022 and US$250,000 in 2023, the company’s total funding pot has now reached an impressive US$12,750,000.

This fresh capital will be judiciously invested in areas crucial for the company’s expansion and impact maximization. Key focus areas include bolstering digital marketing to significantly improve brand visibility and extend its reach across new audiences, alongside the integration of AI-driven functionalities within its app to enrich and personalize user learning experiences.

CA Neeraj Kumar, the Finance Head at ODA Class, shared his optimism about this development, stating, “The latest round of funding showcases that we are headed in the right direction with our plans to transform the Edtech sector. The trust placed in our vision by our investors motivates us to propel ODA Class forward and turn our ambitious plans into tangible outcomes. Thanks to this financial boost, we are in a prime position to enhance our technological capabilities and broaden our product palette. With a particular emphasis on integrating AI and ramping up our digital marketing efforts, we aim to meet our goal of making quality education accessible to learners nationwide.”

Reflecting on the company’s financial health, ODA Class has demonstrated robust revenue growth over consecutive years. It registered revenues of ₹26.90 crore in FY 2021-22, which saw a substantial increase to ₹63.76 crore in FY 2022-23, and edged up to ₹65.81 crore in FY 2023-24. Alongside revenue growth, the company has also been keenly focused on optimizing its expenditures, with costs reported at ₹79.20 crore in FY 2021-22, ₹107.81 crore in FY 2022-23, and down to ₹85.20 crore in FY 2023-24.

With its sights set on scaling existing products and widening its user base, ODA Class’s growth strategy is firmly anchored in achieving profitability independently of further funding. This strategy underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and its determination to make a lasting impact in the Edtech space.
